• Community & Prayer Requests: Prayer requests, testimony updates, or intercessions posted on the Community Prayer Wall are stored to connect you with fellow believers.
• Local Device Storage: Preferences like light/dark mode, Bible study notes, highlights, and reading streaks are saved directly on your browser for seamless local access.
• Log Data & Cookies: We collect standard operational log information and essential cookies necessary for authentication and site security.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To authenticate your identity and secure your account access.
• To send important transactional notifications, such as email verification links and password resets.
• To enable community features including the Prayer Wall and Faith Journey streaks.
• To measure site usage and optimize user experience without selling your data.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We may share data only with trusted service providers necessary for website operations (e.g., authentication providers like Google OAuth and email delivery systems) under strict confidentiality agreements.

5. Account Deletion & Right to Erasure (GDPR / App Store Policy)

In compliance with GDPR Article 17, Google Play Store policies, and Apple App Store guidelines, you have the right to request the complete deletion of your account and personal data at any time:

• Self-Service Account Deletion: If you are logged in, you can delete your account immediately by clicking the account deletion icon in the header navigation or accessing account settings.
• PII Erasure & Anonymization: Upon deletion, all Personally Identifiable Information (PII)—including your full name, email address, Google account link, avatar, password hashes, and active login sessions—is permanently scrubbed and replaced with randomized, non-identifiable placeholders.
• Public Contributions: Any public posts on the Community Prayer Wall are disassociated from your identity and retained anonymously as "Deleted User" to maintain community prayer context.
• Email Release: Your original email address is released immediately upon anonymization, allowing you to re-register a new account in the future if desired.
• Alternative Request Method: You can also submit an account deletion request via email to contact@zologos.org, which will be fulfilled within 30 days.
